Competency 8: Intervene with Individuals, Families, Groups, Organizations, and Communities
The above artifact is a SMART Goal for the student's macro-level change being implemented inside their interning agency. The SMART goal discusses direct action steps the student is/ was involved (or responsible) with completing. The above SMART goal accurately depicts the student's ability to fulfill Core Competency 8 of the CSWE by demonstrating step-by-step intervention steps the student must complete in order to successfully complete their intended macro-level change (2015).
The artifact above is an implementation plan created by the student to help facilitate a macro-level change inside the client system they interned at. The implementation plan was a means to create a needs assessment and possible quality improvement of services offered by the interning agency. This artifact reflects the student's ability to adhere to CSWE's Core Competency 8: Intervene with Individuals, Families, Groups, Organizations, and Communities (2015), by demonstrating their capability to successfully intervene with an organization to help facilitate a long term sustainable change that may impact the university as a whole.
